How BRENO works

The technology can be complex. The decision should not be.

BRENO organizes the work around three questions a decision owner can inspect.

01

What does the evidence support?

Alternatives are compared against decision-relevant evidence rather than advocacy, familiarity, or the attractiveness of one forecast.

02

What if we're wrong?

The analysis examines commitment, lock-in, recovery, and downstream exposure if material assumptions fail.

03

What changes the call?

Where the evidence supports it, BRENO identifies conditions or thresholds that should cause the decision to be reconsidered.

Inspectability

A recommendation should survive inspection.

DIRECTION → WHY → MATERIAL EVIDENCE → SOURCE

Unknowns remain visible. Contradictions remain visible. Assumptions are labeled. Conditions that could change the call are explicit when the evidence supports them.

If BRENO doesn't know, it shouldn't pretend to know.

Inspect the methodology, evidence discipline, boundaries, and qualification provenance.

Human authority

The decision remains yours.

BRENO is decision support. It does not silently replace the decision owner or claim professional authority it does not possess.
